Matt began his career in Silicon Valley working for Intersight who pioneered online market research solutions for clients including Levis, ABC Television and Nissan. In 2008 Matt became one of the founding of the VV Music Services Group which is a multi disciplinary group of companies in entertainment (including Various Artists Management Ltd.). They also established brand partnership agency Vision Artists Ltd. in 2009 who have become one of the leading agencies in the UK working with many of the world leading brands including Jack Daniels, 02, Pepsi, Red Bull & Ford.
COO, Various Artists Management UK/US
Nick originally trained as a solicitor with media law firm Davenport Lyons. He left private practice to join MCA Records International (now Universal) as Head of Legal and Business Affairs. Nick subsequently left MCA to set up Various Artists Management with clients including Killing Joke and Charli XCX amongst others. Nick has also provided legal/business affairs consultancy services for the likes of V2 Records and Cooking Vinyl.
Global CEO, Various Artists Management
David started his career in live production and running clubs, working in lowly roles with everyone from Pink Floyd to Brian Adams as well as being a regular live production assistant on TFI Friday. His club night Bullseye at London’s Rocket night club was one of, if not the first Brit Pop club in London. David has managed everyone from Seasick Steve (million UK albums) to The Enemy (No1 UK album) through to The Libertines (whom sold 110,000 tickets in London alone and released a top 3 UK album in 2015) and Charli XCX (has sold over 30 million singles) who has already had 4 US number 1 singles.
General Manager, Various Artists Management UK
Ronnie manages bands and does some stuff with brands. She likes football, dogs and red wine but not necessarily in that order.
Production, Touring & Day-to-day Artist Manager
Peter has worked at Various for 5 years and is the day-to-day manager for Charli XCX & Killing Joke, he also runs the office diaries and works on all artists’ touring, production and recording schedules/budgets.
Day-to-day Artist Manager & PA to Senior Managers
Sarah joined Various permanently over 4 years ago after spending a short time on an internship. As soon as she joined, she knew she wanted to work in the world of music and is day to day manager for The Libertines, The Feeling, Barns Courtney and RIVRS to name a few, as well as personal assistant to the Directors.
A&R & Digital/ Social Media Manager
Rebecca joined Various in 2014 and works across band and brand management, Various’ label and all things digital/new media. She has worked across numerous music events for the past 5 years and currently runs club night, New Blood Club at Liverpool’s Shipping Forecast and Various’ own club nights. She loves bands, brands and all things digital!
Brand Partnership Specialist
Sam joined the music industry on the promise of fame, fortune & free champagne. Previously he worked directly for Charli XCX covering US/European/UK tours, promo schedules, major TV performances, festivals, corporate shows and of course the obligatory partying.
At Various Artists Management he manages the rosters brand partnerships and corporate opportunities. These range from global campaigns to unique private events. He does this alongside his role developing the Vision Artists Business.
Senior Manager/ Label Manager
John was awarded an ambassadorship by his home city of Coventry for services to the city after the success platinum selling number 1 Enemy Album ‘ We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’. The Enemy sold over 1.5 million records, and have three top 10 albums. Starting out as a tour manager, working with several bands including:- Boy Kill Boy / Alexisonfire / Rise Against / and more. John moved on to consulting for many other bands and music brands The Fratellis, The Twang, etc. Huge national club success was gained as owner of the midlands favourite club Rehab Warehouse in Coventry. It was voted recently the Guardians Club venue of the month several times.
Danny Watson is old. Because of this he has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Green Day, Paul Simon, and Neil Young to name but a few.
He also set up and ran the legendary Deathdisco Club, with Alan McGee.
He has 5 children, supports Arsenal, and knows for a fact (White Man) in Hammersmith Palais is the greatest record ever made.
Seb is an artist manager and A&R with 5 years’ experience of managing artists across major and independent labels. Seb joined the Various team in April 2015 and has quickly demonstrated an eye for talent and artist management having identified and developed acts such as Barns Courtney (Virgin EMI and Capitol Records) and Yonaka. Seb’s favourite long play is Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.
With over 10 years music industry experience, Claire has a wealth of knowledge working in both A&R and artist management – Previously working across Universal and Warner label, Lizard King (The Killers, SantoGold) and Sony ATV publishing’s Stellar Songs (Sam Smith, Charli XCX, Naughty Boy).
Ellie started her musical life running for bands at Liverpool University whilst at Uni. Within 2 years she was working as a promoter at Barfly Liverpool, after a while the creative process came calling and she started as A&R at Fiction/Polydor records. For 7 years, Ellie helped guide bands such as White Lies and The Music. She also spotted the talent of a younger Ellie Goulding, introducing her to the president of Polydor.
Management Assistant & Day-to-day Artist Manager (US)
Twiggy is the newest member of the VAM family (VAMily?), but has known the team for a few years having helped with merchandising and assisting on a Charli XCX US tour. One-time super yacht DJ, occasional music writer and frequent reveler, Twiggy joins the team to help on day-to-day scheduling and as management assistant in LA.

Doug spent almost 20 years travelling all corners of the planet in a Tour & Production Management capacity before coming off the road & setting up as freelance Tour Production & Consultancy. Having toured numerous acts from the obligatory small club venues up to worldwide arena headline status, Doug comes with a wealth of Touring & Production knowledge as well as a solid worldwide contact base from every side of the live touring industry. Via Gun Room Media Doug oversees all Various Artists live operations from the planning & budgeting stage through to all global touring logistics.
